Terms of Use
You agree to use the completetwit.com website (including Discussions, Remarks and Profiles) in accordance with the following Terms of Use.
Code of Conduct
Contributions must be tasteful and civil — no unpleasant behaviour is tolerated.
Nothing disruptive, offensive or abusive: contributions must be constructive, polite, not mean-spirited or intended to cause trouble.
No unlawful or objectionable content: anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually orientated, racially offensive, violent, or in any other way deemed to be objectionable, is not acceptable.
If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community or annoying other users, you may have action taken against your accounts.
Be patient: users of all ages and abilities may use the site and some may not be as technically able as you or may have different opinions to you.
No spamming or off-topic material: the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times is not allowed. Please do not re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
No advertising without prior permission from a Manager.
No spoilers: material which reveals the plot to any programme which has not been transmitted on UK analogue or digital television will be deleted.
Contributions are only allowed in English — any other language may be removed.
No impersonations
No inappropriate (i.e. vulgar, offensive etc.) user names.
Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not permitted — if you persist then action will be taken against your accounts.
Safety
We recommend that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else — information such as telephone number, home or email address, and please do not include postal addresses of any sort. If you want to share useful information that includes an address then consult with a Manager first (see ‘contact us’) and if they are happy with it, then go ahead.
The law says that you may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any nature — this includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is absolutely prohibited.
You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of any third parties, including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights. You must not pass off work as your own if in fact it originates from someone else — you must provide a credit for the originator.
The views expressed in the completetwit.com website are those of member of the public and are not necessarily those of the site proprietors.
If you are under 16, please get a parent’s or guardian’s permission before taking part in any discussion or submitting any material to the completetwit.com website. Do not reveal any personal information about yourself or indeed anyone else, particularly not telephone numbers, home address or email address.
General
IF YOU BREACH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE OR FAIL TO ABIDE BY THE CODE OF CONDUCT, EITHER LITERALLY OR IN SPIRIT, THEN YOU WILL BE SENT AN EMAIL EXPLAINING WHY YOUR CONTRIBUTION HAS BEEN FAILED OR WITHDRAWN. YOU WILL ALSO BE WARNED THAT IF YOU CONTINUE TO BREAK THE RULES YOUR ACCOUNT OR ACCOUNTS MAY WELL BE CLOSED DOWN AND YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO SUBMIT ANY FURTHER MATERIAL.
We retain the right to delete any contribution, take any action against the account, at any time and for any reason. These rules will take precedence over any terms to be found elsewhere on the website. If any of these terms are deemed to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of law in other countries or states where they are meant to be effective, then to the extent that they are illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in that country, the rest of the terms and conditions will still apply in full.
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
